Maternity | Nisqually Wildlife Refuge

I've been working on finding new locations for each of my shoots and while this was a new location to shoot in for me, it was clearly a hotspot with other local photographers traipsing the beautiful grounds. Can't really blame us though - it's a gorgeous location!

And I met up with some beautiful people on a beautiful day! I'm so excited to meet this sweet little in less than a month! And, spoiler alert, the next sessions just might include a horse or two! (SO very fun)

The Donners | Maternity & Baby Shower

Little baby Ella is a gift long awaited and I'm so blessed to be able to document all the steps towards meeting her face to face (less than a month now!!). As I've said before, I've known this couple for many years & out of the blue, last August they decided they wanted to get together for Anniversary photos. Little did they know, just a few months later, they'd receive a +sign that would change their lives forever!

We've met now for baby announcement photos, gender reveal party photos and a few weeks ago at the beautiful Tumwater Falls park for some maternity photos...

 And a very sweet baby shower....

I am over the moon excited to post these pictures today.

Today is the day that this sweet couple's little bundle has been welcomed to the world!! So excited for these two very beautiful people and only second in line is my excitement to meet and photograph the little man this weekend!!

Announcing Baby!

Well - what better day to get up their blog post than on their 10 year wedding anniversary! We shot some anniversary photos back in August on one of the hottest days of the year - but that was well before we knew baby #1 was on the way! 

This couple is so fantastic and I've known them for years - they are going to be amazing parents, there will be a never-ending amount of laughter in the home & this child is truly a "blessing from the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward!" - psalm 127:3

Happy Anniversary you two! Can't wait to meet baby!

Barr Family | 10 year anniversary

What a fun photo shoot this was! I'm not biased because my sister has a beautiful family - it was fun because it was kid photography, sibling photography, families, couples, and preggo all in one shoot! I loved it! Not to mention the local is to die for. 10 years ago my sister married in this vast yard on the Key Peninsula and we returned (thanks to our wonderful aunt who lives there!) to take anniversary photos!
