7 days new | Newborn Photography

I was so excited to hang out with this precious family a few weeks ago. Their little 7 day old daughter was such a cooperative little lady. She did exactly everything we asked of her! And, after what seemed like a very long winter, it finally warmed up enough to snag a shot or two outside. I'm starting to love newborns more and more!

IN CAMERA | double exposures

I've been really into double exposures lately [as evidenced here and here]. Maybe cause it brings me back to the feeling of film a little again - and I love the mood and feel of them. I've by no means perfected the idea, there are many who have, if you're one of them, don't judge. haha. Some friends and I caught a beauty of a sunset last night, so I thought I'd give it a go. And I know this is possible in photoshop. I've played around with that a little too... but there's nothing like getting it IN CAMERA first.

One Year! | Tacoma Child Photography

I love LOVE word of mouth. A referral is the absolute best compliment a client can give and recently I got to meet this handsome, and stylish, little man because someone had referred his family to me. 

He thought he could get away without giving us any smiles, and he'd have been 100% handsome doing just that, but we were determined, [and I'm not above acting childish], we got him to smile and to show us his sweet two tooth grin!
