"Friday" Photo Shoot

I was just saying to my hubs last night that I've been so consumed with balancing two jobs that there's so much I want NEED to do that just isn't getting done.... like blogging laundry, dishes, grocery shopping... Posting a Friday Photo Shoot is just one of many things on that list. And when I've got photos to share - I don't like being late... But this little babe is better late than never. A good friend of mine asked me to snap some photos of her daughter who was turning a whopping one year old! She is such a cutie and the "smiliest" (is that a word??) baby I've ever met!

Also... how do photographer's decide which pics too put up? I can't make up my mind when I like them all!

Temptation

In it's most common form...

These sat in front of me during an early (7am) morning meeting today... At a time of day when I never thought I could make adequate decisions for myself - I was able to resist the temptation of the donut. (yay me!) 

I'm ready for change in my life and I want new things to happen. Instead of waiting around for something to happen... job opportunities to come... more photography adventures to happen... 

I'll take charge of what's in my power to control.

I'll rely on God's power and invite him into this process of getting my health/life/body into shape so that I am not limited at the adventures mountains I can climb.

This pinterest thing...

So I'm getting used to this pinterest thing. I've had 'pinsomnia' like the best of them and laid in my bed phone in hand just browsing what other people are putting on their virtual bulletin boards... But today I was exploring Pinterest when I realized a little link that said "others from christinaklas.blogspot.com"... Now this isn't much for those who have been in the photograpy world/biz for a while now but I think it's neat that complete strangers have been pinning my work and it's growing. I guess I only hope that brings those folks back to this site to see more.

*Side note and super cheap ploy for another follower... It's been driving my "OCD" (don't really have it) CRAZY that I've had 99 followers forever. Finally yesterday I reached an even 100 (woot!)... Then apparently I lost one (bummer) Which makes me BACK to 99! gahh!
