Two Fell In Love | Family Photography

I sat on the antique couch - watching the fireplace and listening to the love story of two people that brought nearly 20 (and counting) people together. "Living a legacy" that's what Rich always says. That's exactly what they have created.

For those of you that are reading this - and that are close to this family - or to our church family - you'll remember there was a man who blessed our church for some time - his name was Dick Anderson. His is a legacy that will live forever .... Rich Sewell is the "new Dick Anderson" [and not just because of the awesome sweater vests]. That doesn't mean anything to you if you don't know these men. But if you do, there's not a higher compliment that can be bestowed. (also means they are incredibly humble and probably HATE that I'm saying these things)

All that to say - it was a real honor to take these photos - in this antique home in Long Beach Washington... they didn't need many photos of themselves. This was about capturing the legacy - but we needed to get at least one. So - as I moved myself into position to take their photos - they moved themselves onto the floor and nestled in front of the fireplace together. I didn't ask them to do that... They just did it because it felt natural and their love for one another [and everyone around them] is just natural.

It really only took one frame to capture.
