There are many things I'd like to be in life... a morning person, a runner, an avid gardener... I am the opposite of all of these things. In fact I am so on the other end of the spectrum from Green thumb that I'm sure there is a term for that and I just don't know what it is.
I'd love to have a vegetable garden but I can't even keep the ones in my fridge alive. This is the process of growing up. I've recently come to terms with the fact that we make time for those things which are most important in our lives. What is it that I find important? And do I need to change my priorities?
There is a woman in town who, I'm pretty sure, has ten green fingers. Her yard is filled with plants of which I'm sure have pretty common names and as Springtime approaches (the sunny part, that is) She'll fill all her flower boxes and sell plants on the side of the road.
This year. I'll buy plants and get my hands dirty.
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteFirst you have to get the Sun to shine ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the process of gardening, it's very therapeutic...but I am not good at it lol. It is a work in progress! I love having raised beds. Now if we can just get lots of sun this summer to help things grow!
