I'm a total WRECK

What has happened to me? I'm like a forgetful 4 year old in a 27 year old's life. Something is misfiring in my brain. That has to be it.

Allow me to explain.

1. Last Saturday I lost my phone. Not a huge deal, I knew I had just misplaced it at my husband's work so he would look for it when he returned to work on Tuesday. No luck. He couldn't find it anywhere. (All the while I'm thinking to myself  -  a man couldn't find the ketchup in the fridge if it was right in the front, eye level, on the top shelf - perhaps it just needs a woman's touch) 


So - when I went to help out at the middle school youth group on Wednesday night (husband's work) I thought I'd take a look around myself.... Here I am. Standing in the entrance to the youth room. Bag in hand. I set my bag down and notice - "Oh, I didn't know I had this little pocket" BAM. Cell phone. In my bag. The. Whole. Time.

2. I'm driving my husband and I home from youth group (FYI. I'm telling this story in the hopes that you are not a police officer who's bent is to track people down and send them tickets for things they admit in their blogs)... Very little people are on the road at this time of night and I'm in the zone - just wanting to get home after a rough night of c.r.a.z.y. middle school energy.

I stop at the intersection. I look both ways. No one's coming. Perfect. I continue driving.

"THE LIGHT IS RED!" I hear...
