Definitely sure I saw a couple sharing a motorized wheel chair to transport them to the local convenience store... Hey man. Whatever works. Tillicum. A little Different.
The outlet pictured above has been home to many squatting RVs in it's day. The long driveway/parking lot of Bill's Boathouse has been prime parking for RVs which have no other place to locate - and heck - "FREE" electricity right? ... Wrong... It's not free... You're just not the one paying for it. But hey - it's Tillicum. We do things a little differently. No one bats an eye cause we're used to it that way.
Are those rv'rs homeless or just camping and moving on? I guess in my mind that would make a difference...but no matter how you cut it, it is still stealing. I wouldn't want to pay for someone else's use of my electricity, I pay enough already! Your outlet image is intriguing... I wouldn't have though to shoot that... I like it!
ReplyDeleteMadge! That is an excellent question... Perhaps I should have clarified. For the most part - the rv'rs are homeless... At least they are building-less. :) It's a fine line between wanting to help because they've got nothing else - and not wanting to enable... Thanks for your visit!
ReplyDeleteOh Tillicum. I love thee.
ReplyDeleteI did not see what it was at first. They don´t look like that in Sweden. Cool!
ReplyDeleteAhhh ... Tillicum ... I miss thee
ReplyDeleteLove how you've taken a simple, probably ugly thing and photographed it in such an interesting way. And even put a story and ethical question along with it. LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit @ Chasing Rainbows.
Great capture, love the composition!
ReplyDeleteYou created such a cool work of art with something as simple and ordinary as an electrical outlet! Nice!
