Getting what you wished for

Man. I can whine whine whine like the best of 'em - "When's it gonna snow? It never snows? Why don't we get any snow?" blah blah blah... Well - we got what we wished for (no apologies for those who dislike this glorious fresh powder!) It's an absolute winter wonderland outside. Something we rarely see even though we are surrounded by mountain ranges. Precipitation? Ya. We get lots of that - but RARELY does it come in the form of frozen white flakes. So - we threw open the drapes, dawned our snow gear & and played like we were kids.

  4. Celebrate!! I live in a part of the U.S. that never gets as much snow as I'd like as well. Have a friend in your area and she's been giving some wintery weather updates throughout the day. Last report ice, so watch out! Yesterday there was just enough snow for her grandson to build a mini snow man--palm sized. Very cute, as is your grownup one. :-)
