Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day

I opened the drapes this morning and had to remind myself what that bright light in the sky was... Washington Fall/Winter/Springs (which is mostly one long rainy season) can drag on for far too long. I tried getting out and enjoying some of the sunshine this morning but the weather was deceiving... the wind was biting and the waves were crashing. It's a blustery day.

No. I don't have any children - but that doesn't stop me from being a kid myself. My husband and I recently took a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. Once we'd filled our time with just about every ride - twice - we took advantage of what Disney had to offer that wasn't thrill related

~ We took drawing classes.

I love art in (just about) any form and this was a joy to be able to sit and draw (and get out of the rain - which we apparently brought with us to Anaheim).

Vacation is a wonderful thing - but then it's time to get back to reality. Oh bother.

  2. I love the look of your blog. I also LOVE the Pacific NW. My husband and I have been planning to move out there for 8 years now, and we were just in Seattle a few months ago. But it has fallen thru AGAIN! Ah well, maybe when we retire...
