Love for Katie was once professed on the streets of Tillicum. His love went unrequited. She must have tore his heart out because he felt it necessary to return to this spot and express, once again, how he felt for her.
This is romance in Tillicum: A can of spray paint.
Perhaps it's no wonder that Katie turned him down? I walked past this spot months ago (while he was still in love with Katie) and wanted to take a picture but had left my camera at home. It would have been nice to have had a before and after.
"I love HATE u Katie"
The things we do for the ones we love. I think about that often. We sacrifice of ourselves and do things we might not do otherwise. We stand outside their windows blasting love songs (say anything), we paint the streets... We act ridiculous sometimes - love drunk.
I think about some of the silly things that bring my husband and I together. We couldn't be bigger dorks. But that's what love is. It's never perfect. Sometimes you want to paint the streets with how you feel so everyone knows but then you remember why you love them in the first place.
I hope that you have a love that is ridiculous.
That is halarious,

We could all begin to be happier each day.
Funny about Katie and her beau. They must be in junior high where emotions run like a roller coaster, up and down but never level. - Cute photo of y'all!

ReplyDeleteChristina, Truely believe that love last and lasts because it is ridiculous! If you and your true love can laugh over ANYTHNG and everything..and act totally dorky at times it is what Princess Buttercup and Wesley had "wove true wove" Keep laughing!
