Our Getaway

Sometimes it's just not possible to get away for the weekend. When we do - it's generally with 50 students in tow. So, when we can, we get away to a little restaurant in the neighboring town of Steilacoom (we like to say its just like Tillicum only minus the $ in the front - don't be offended though if you live there).

Jake's is our favorite place to be in the summer. Their deck has the perfect view (as seen below) & the atmosphere is perfect. This is particularly why I can't imagine why anyone would want to live anywhere else (don't be offended if you do) but to drive 5 minutes and land in a place like this? Perfection (could I use that word any more in this post??).

My thoughts are a bit drab these days... Who'da thought you could feel a lack of inspiration with a view like that? But perhaps I've hit my blogging wall? 4 months is a long time people. You out there with several thousand viewers... and a few years of posting under your belt - my hat's off to you. How do you feel inspired so often?
