First of all - thank you for all of your kind words yesterday. It’s encouraging that when I use this blog as an outlet for my questions and pondering about why God is the way he is or why he does what he does - you respond. It’s good to know others have felt, or do feel, the same way. It’s also humbling to remember - This is a job (!!) This is not the end of the world. This pales in comparison to the struggles of many. And, while the situation is vastly different, I hope my words can ring true in varying situations.
All that being said - I consider myself an optimist and I pick up my life with joy and I keep moving on. Doing what God has asked me to do... So what is that for today?
Today I respond by taking 50 energetic middle school and high school students away on a four day retreat. (Good grief - NOT by myself - but with other capable/willing volunteers)...
So - I’ll be away from my computer and will be unable to respond to all of your sweet and lovely comments (thank you!!). I like to be a dutiful blogger and respond to everyone who comments - so... If it doesn’t happen right away I WILL be going through and checking in on all that I missed when I return!
Until then... I’m submerged in camp.
Yup, you'll be surrounded by me and 29 other screaming teenage girls. So much fun!
ReplyDeleteawesome pics again! thanks for the comments on the little guy... i can't get over that smile myself. :) and seriously... I must be losing my mind, I even commented on your post about your new camera! lol!

ReplyDeleteOooh, that sounds like a lot of work (50!), but I wish you the best! :) Nice water shot below. It may sound like the easy way out, but I really believe if something doesn't happen that we gave our best shot at, then it wasn't meant to be. I bet later you find out why.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with camp - I love the processing on your photo.
