Playing Photographer

There isn’t much I wouldn’t do for a good picture (not to say that it always turns out good)... But I actually love those times when everyone else kind of looks at me strangely and thinks to themselves (or out loud).... “What is she taking a picture of?”

Recently a friend asked me to take some engagement photos of them at the fair (!!!) = LOVELY #1.

That is so exciting to me and I want to make sure that all of the photos turn out exactly like she wants them too. So - when I heard my sister and her family were headed to the fair for the day, I tagged along for a few hours (LOVELY #2) so I could get some practice shots (LOVELY #3).

Enter the reason people look at me strangely. I just kind of wandered around with my camera and monopod (graciously lent to me by a friend = LOVELY #4) and set up shop sometimes in the middle of the walkway so people had no choice but to wonder - who are these super cool people that they have their OWN photographer.

My sister said: “Will you just follow us around everywhere and be our life photographer?” haha. If dreams would come true (LOVELY #5). (and if you could get paid to do that and not have to take boring pictures of celebrities, ugh.)

Anyhow - I took SO many photos that I don’t know when I’ll have time to sift through them all - but these are two that I fell in love with!
